Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026 | Effective Date: October 4, 2026

At SearchLearningTools.com ("SearchLearningTools", "we", "our", or "us"), accessible from https://searchlearningtools.com, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by SearchLearningTools and how we use it, particularly regarding our free SEO workflow tools, developer SEO tools, and advertising partnerships.

1. Information We Collect and Receive

SearchLearningTools is engineered around privacy-first principles. We do not require registration, passwords, or personal identity data to use any of our web utilities. The information we may collect includes:

  • Direct Communications: If you contact us directly via email (hello@searchlearningtools.com) or our contact form, we may receive your email address, name, and the contents of your message.
  • Log Files: Like standard web servers, our hosting infrastructure records standard log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses (hashed for privacy), browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any personally identifiable information.

2. Tool Input Processing & Zero URL Retention Policy

When you use our browser-based tools—including our Local SEO schema generator, Next.js SEO metadata generator, robots.txt AI crawler tester, or SEO visibility checker:

  • Stateless In-Memory Execution: Target URLs, domain names, keywords, and seed topics submitted to our tools are processed statelessly in temporary server memory solely to fetch public metadata, evaluate robots.txt, and return immediate diagnostic results.
  • Zero Retention Guarantee: We do NOT save, log, sell, share, or store the specific URLs or proprietary content you submit. Once your HTTP request completes and the diagnostic output is delivered, the in-memory payload is purged.
  • Hashed IP Rate Limiting: IP addresses are mathematically hashed using a one-way salt solely to enforce our 2 runs/day public rate limits and prevent malicious Denial of Service (DoS) attacks. Raw IPs are never stored in databases.

3. Google AdSense & Advertising Disclosures

SearchLearningTools partners with third-party advertising vendors, including Google AdSense, to display non-intrusive advertisements across our site. Google is one of the third-party vendors on our site.

Google DoubleClick DART Cookies:

Google uses cookies, known as DART cookies, to serve ads to our site visitors based upon their visit to https://searchlearningtools.com and other sites on the internet.

Visitors may choose to decline the use of DART cookies by visiting the Google Ad and Content Network Privacy Policy at the following URL: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads

Third-party ad servers or ad networks use technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on SearchLearningTools, which are sent directly to users' browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see on websites that you visit.

Note that SearchLearningTools has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers. You can opt out of interest-based advertising by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page at https://optout.networkadvertising.org/ or the Digital Advertising Alliance at https://optout.aboutads.info/.

4. Cookies, Local Storage & Consent Management

We use standard browser cookies and local storage items strictly necessary for functional operation:

  • slt_cookie_consent: Stores your cookie consent choice.
  • slt_seo_checklist: Stores your progress in the SEO Learning Path checklist locally in your browser.
  • slt_usage_stamp: Stores local rate-limiting counter for tool generation.

You can choose to disable cookies through your individual browser options. Detailed information about cookie management with specific web browsers can be found at the browsers' respective websites.

5. GDPR Privacy Rights (Data Protection Rights)

We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Every user is entitled to the following:

  • The right to access: You have the right to request copies of your personal data.
  • The right to rectification: You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate.
  • The right to erasure: You have the right to request that we erase your personal data under certain conditions.
  • The right to restrict processing: You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data.
  • The right to object to processing: You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data.
  • The right to data portability: You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you.

If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you. If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please contact us at:hello@searchlearningtools.com.

6. CCPA / CPRA Privacy Rights (Do Not Sell My Personal Information)
